It’s been awhile since I posted up on the blog, so I am going to share about my recent trip. I went on a mini get away to explore the beautiful Cape town with my amazing sisters. This was much needed as I have been craving for family time. One of the things I was worried about was the towns fluctuating weather. The last time I visited round about the same time it was cold and rainy most days. To my amazement, the weather was pretty chilled this time which made it easy to explore and have fun.
This time we got to explore many more places, we went as far as Cape point and drove past all those small coastal towns such as Simons town and Muizenberg on our way. We got to meet many amazing people. Our daily itinerary was packed up hence we managed to visit most places and do most things that are to be done in Capetown. I mainly enjoyed the wine hopping trip in the wine lands of Paarl and Stellenbosch and since I’ve always wanted to visit penguins this was definitely something to tick off my bucket list.
I didn’t get to carry my camera at our night outings hence this look book is only for my day time looks.
Look 1: Bohemian
Comfy yet cute was what I was going for on the wine hopping trip. I opted for palazzo pants and paired it with an off shoulder top to give it a bit of a bohemian look. I wanted a very simple look so I didn’t accessorize.

Look 2: Athleisure
This was our first real day of exploring as the previous day was all giggles and laughter at the winelands. I wanted a comfortable look. I barely wear sneakers but I had to pack a pair during this trip and I must admit my mindset has changed. I paired my mesh shirt and leggings with my favorite oversized denim Jacket.

Look 3: Comfy chic
I went for a simple yet chic look. I wore this to Robben Island and exploring the city centre and areas around the Waterfront. Block heels are a fun way of adding chic to your look without looking like you tried. The best part is you get to walk in them comfortably all day. Can you believe the guys in the ferry to Robben island complained that I wore heels??? I was like what heels? Men!
Jacket: Zara / Jeans: River Island / Top & scarf: H&M / heels: Jet
Look 4: Biker chic
We went to explore the small town of Muizenberg, Simon’s town and all the other places along the coastline going to Cape point. I decided to wear an all black assemble, by pairing my favorite studded leather jacket and ripped jeans with buckle boots.

Look 5. Denim and Tees
The last day was all about last minute shopping and a bit of sight-seeing. A very simple yet comfortable look was what I needed as we had a late flight to catch after and I didn’t want to have to change, so sneakers, jeans and tees made the perfect combination.
